Sending a parcel to family or friends abroad should not mean queueing at a counter or guessing what it will cost. With Quantium Solutions you book online, see the full price in RM before you pay, and a Pos Laju courier collects the parcel from your address. This guide walks through each step, from what to have ready to tracking the parcel after it leaves.
What to have ready
A few minutes of preparation makes booking quick. Before you start, have:
- The packed parcel, weighed in kilograms and, if you can, measured in centimetres.
- A list of what is inside: a description of each item, where it was made, how many there are and what each one is worth in RM.
- The recipient's full address and contact details.
- The sender's mobile number. It is required, because the courier calls it to arrange the collection.
Each order covers one parcel. If you are sending two boxes, make two orders.
Book and compare prices
On the booking form, choose Malaysia under "Sending from" and the destination country under "Sending to". Enter the weight and, optionally, the size. Say whether you are sending a parcel or a document and choose the type of goods.
Next, list each item with its description, HS code, where it was made, quantity and value each. The HS code is an international product code; the magnifier icon next to the field helps you look it up. If you send the same things often, save them as favourite items and reuse them next time.
Press "Get prices". Every available service is shown with its full price: the shipping fee, any surcharges, the pickup fee and any duty collected now. You know the full cost before you pay. Choose the service that suits you.
Add addresses and pay
Enter the sender and recipient details. Your registered address is already in your address book, and any new address can be saved there so you only type it once. Pick it from the list next time.
Pay from your Quantium Solutions wallet, topping it up first if needed, or pay online where that option is available. If you have a coupon, apply it at checkout.
Print the label and hand it over
Once payment goes through, we book the collection with Pos Laju automatically. When the booking is confirmed, a "Download label" button appears on your order page. Print the label and stick it flat on the parcel.
A Pos Laju courier then collects the parcel from the sender's address. Drop-off points are coming soon for those who prefer to hand in a parcel themselves.
From there, the parcel travels to our hub in Shah Alam, Selangor, and then on to its destination.
Track it, or cancel if plans change
You can follow the parcel on our Track page with the order number, for example QSMY4F8H2K9P, or with the carrier's tracking number. No account is needed, so you can share the number with the recipient and they can check it too.
If your plans change, you can cancel the order yourself from the order page until the parcel has been collected. The refund goes to your wallet in full, or to a bank account you give us. A processing fee may apply to a bank refund, and it is shown before you confirm.
