Sending a parcel to family or friends abroad should not mean queuing at a counter or guessing the price. With Quantium Solutions you book online, see the full price in HKD before you pay, and a courier collects the parcel from your door. This guide walks through each step, from the first quote to tracking the parcel on its way.
1. Get prices
On the booking page, choose "Sending from" Hong Kong and "Sending to" the destination country. Enter the weight in kilograms and, if you know it, the size in centimetres. Say whether you are sending a parcel or a document, and choose the type of goods.
Then list each item in the parcel: a short description, its HS code, where it was made, the quantity and the value of each one in HKD. If you are not sure of the HS code, the magnifier icon next to the field opens a lookup.
Press "Get prices". Every available service appears with its full price: the shipping fee, any surcharges, the pickup fee and any duty we collect now. You can compare the services side by side before you pay and choose the one that suits you.
2. Add the sender and recipient
Next, enter the sender and recipient details. The sender's mobile number is required, because the courier calls it to arrange the collection. Make sure it is a number that will be answered.
Your registered address is already in your address book, and any new address can be saved there and picked next time. If you send the same things often, save them as favourite items and reuse them instead of typing them again.
Each order covers one parcel. If you have two boxes, book two orders.
3. Pay
You can pay from your Quantium Solutions wallet, which you top up first, or pay online through EVONET. If you have a coupon, apply it at checkout.
4. Print the label and hand over the parcel
Once you have paid, we book the collection with Cainiao automatically, so there is no one to call. When the collection is booked, a "Download label" button appears on the order page. Print the label and stick it flat on the parcel.
A Cainiao courier then collects the parcel from the sender's address. Drop-off points, for those who would rather hand a parcel in themselves, are coming soon.
From there the parcel goes to our hub in Yuen Long, and then on to its destination.
5. Track it, or cancel if plans change
Follow the parcel on our Track page using the order number, for example QSHK7K3M9Q2X, or the carrier's tracking number. No account is needed, so you can pass the number to the recipient and let them check it too.
If your plans change, you can cancel the order yourself from the order page at any time until the parcel has been collected. The refund goes back to your wallet in full, or to a bank account you give us. A processing fee may apply to a bank refund; if it does, it is shown before you confirm.
That is the whole process. Before you book, it is worth reading our guides on declaring your items correctly and packing the box well, since both help your parcel arrive without delay.
